A Canadian court today (November 18) dropped an assault charge against Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio Molina for attacking blogger Perez Hilton earlier this year.

Molina punched Hilton in the eye outside a Toronto nightclub in June.

The incident was caused after Hilton and Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am got into an argument over the blogger's criticism of the group's latest album, The E.N.D.

According to The Toronto Star, Molina was ordered not to have any contact with Hilton and not to carry any weapons. He was also ordered to donate $500 to charity and to stay at least 100 metres away from the nightclub where the incident occurred.

Molina wrote a letter of apology to Hilton which the judge accepted but Hilton has stated that the letter is 'not good enough remedy'.

Hilton has also filed a $25,000 civil suit against Molina.
