50 Cent Video Rejected By MTV

With the release of his latest studio album Curtis just around the corner, 50 Cent has seemingly run into a road block as his new video has reportedly been rejected by MTV.
According to radio personality Miss Info's blog, the clip for 50's single "Amusement Park," which was scheduled to premiere on MTV on May 16, has been rejected by the network. As a result the G-Unit boss is considering replacing the video with one for the song "Straight To The Bank."
As of press time, no official reason has been stated for the network's displeasure with the video yet there is some speculation that the song's sexually charged lyrics may have something to do with the network pulling the plug on the video.
This is not the first bit of controversy concerning the record. The song's track was apparently also used for a Jim Jones freestyle that was featured previously on a DJ Drama mixtape.
The album, which was originally titled Curtis S.S.K. (SoundScan Killer), is set to hit shelves on June 26 and will feature production by Dr. Dre, Eminem, Havoc (Mobb Deep) and Timbaland, with guest spots from Akon, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake and Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls.

In a rare interview, Knight said he's going to stay on the sidelines until he gets a sense which way the music industry is going.
The 300-pound Knight, a football standout at UNLV before creating hip-hop superstars Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, said he's more interested in "acting or coaching football.
"He's already shot a TV reality show based on his hometown of Compton, Calif., and the rough neighborhoods in South Central L.A., Knight said during a chat Saturday in the MGM Grand Garden arena after the Oscar De La Hoya-Floyd Mayweather Jr. title fight.
"Unfinished Business" is the working title of Knight's reality show.
Comedian Tracy Morgan Accused Of Groping Florida DJ

A Florida based DJ has filed a misdemeanor battery complaint against comedian Tracy Morgan claiming he inappropriately groped her while making an appearance at a local radio station.
According to The Miami Herald, while Morgan appeared on the "Paul and Young Ron Show" on Big 105.9 FM on Friday (May 11), witnesses told authorities the comic appeared ''totally out of it'.' After a 20-minute profanity-laced interview with the disc jockeys, he would then stumble out of the studio before finding his way into its sister station, Mega 94.9, located a few doors down in the same building.
Sandy Domingo, a DJ on Mega 94.9 FM whose real name is Yuleik DeCastro, told police that Morgan walked into her studio and began fondling her as she was broadcasting. She said he smelled like he had been drinking.
Several witnesses confirmed her version of what happened, police said. Witnesses also told The Miami Herald that Morgan knocked on several other studio doors before finally leaving the building at about 8:30 a.m.
Miramar authorities are seeking to question Morgan and say they have no plans to arrest him. The New York bred comedian was in town to make an appearance at the Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre in Coconut Grove.
Morgan's drinking troubles have been well documented. He last made headlines in November when he arrested for drunk driving in New York City.
Last month, a Los Angeles judge ordered the comedian to wear an electronic ankle bracelet after he plead guilty to the drunken driving charge. The New York DUI was a violation of Morgan's probation in a prior DUI conviction in Los Angeles.
Morgan was scheduled to be fitted May 25 for the bracelet, which is supposed to test every 30 minutes for alcohol vapors emitted from the skin. If he tests positive twice for alcohol, he will be sent to jail for 30 days.
Morgan first gained recognition as a regular guest on Martin Lawrence's hit sitcom "Martin" before landing a slot as a "Saturday Night Live" cast member in 1996. He later starred in his own short-lived sitcom "The Tracy Morgan Show" and now on NBC's "SNL"-themed sitcom "30 Rock."
SHOCK JOCKS JOKE ABOUT RAPING CONDI RICE

On Wednesday’s (5/9) broadcast of the Opie & Anthony show, a frequent guest named "Homeless Charlie" said he wanted to have sex with “that George Bush b****,” referring to U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
“I’d love to f*** that b****. She needs a f***ing man,” said “Homeless Charlie.”
Co-host Anthony Cumia interrupted to say he "could just imagine the horror on Condoleezza Rice's face when she realized that you were holding her down and f***ing her."
"Punching her in the f***ing face and f***ing her," Charlie added, laughing.
Although the offensive comments were made on Opie & Anthony’s radio show on satellite station XM, (listen to comments below) a portion of their morning program is also heard on CBS-owned 92.3 "Free FM." CBS said they had no plans to cancel Opie & Anthony, reports the New York Post.
A rep for XM issued the following statement: "We apologize to the public officials for comments that were made on our XM show... We take very seriously the responsibility that comes with our creative freedom and regret any offense that this segment has caused."
While CBS has decided to leave Opie & Anthony alone, it has fired New York shock jocks Jeff Vandergrift and Dan Lay of "The Dog House with JV and Elvis" after they made a prank phone call filled with offensive Asian stereotypes.
Vandergrift and Lay broadcast a call to a Chinese restaurant in which the caller, in an exaggerated accent, placed an order for "shrimp flied lice," claimed he was a student of kung fu, and compared menu items to employees' body parts.
The initial airing of the call went unnoticed, but a rebroadcast after Don Imus's firing prompted an outcry from Asian-American groups. Vandergrift and Lay were initially suspended without pay, but Asian-Americans quickly demanded the same penalty applied to the much higher-profile Imus.
"The Dog House with JV and Elvis," hosted by Jeff Vandergrift and Dan Lay, "will no longer be broadcast," CBS Radio spokeswoman Karen Mateo said Saturday.
CBS fired Imus after he made racially insensitive remarks against blacks.
